Rates and what is included
Rates are quoted per person per night in US dollars and include breakfast and dinner. Your rate also includes sandboarding, music around the campfire and nomad visits by 4WD. Lunch, drinks, camel rides, stargazing and quad biking are optional extras. Rates change with the season and the size of your group. See our frequently asked questions for current starting prices.
Bookings and payment
A quote is not a booking. Your booking is confirmed only when we confirm it to you in writing, by email or message. Please ask us for the payment conditions that apply to your dates before you confirm.
Changes and cancellations
Conditions for changing or cancelling a booking depend on your dates and the number of guests. Please ask us for the conditions that apply to your booking before you confirm it. If safety, weather or road conditions force us to change your plans, we will contact you as soon as we can to discuss the options.
Season, access and conditions
The camp is open from September 1 to June 15 and closed in summer because of the heat. The last part of the journey is about 60 km off-road and needs a 4WD vehicle. There is no mobile signal at the camp. Desert weather and track conditions can change timings, so please keep your plans flexible.
Activities and safety
Activities such as camel rides, sandboarding and quad biking involve physical effort and some risk. Please follow our guides’ instructions and tell us in advance about any health condition, mobility limit or allergy so that we can plan for you.
Respect for the desert and the camp
We ask every guest to take rubbish out of the dunes, to keep to the paths our guides suggest and to be respectful of the local families and communities you meet.
